The Maintenance Files

One of the joys of owning a 911- especially an older one - is the ongoing repairing/replacing/maintaining the dozens of little things.  I am now feeling pretty cocky about my mechanic's skills & the available pool of cyber-help.  One of the reasons I bought the car and also one of the reasons I could buy the car was my determination to repair and maintain it.  Porsche mechanics get $60 - $100 per hour so I was going to have to learn quickly.  I wanted to keep the visits to an absolute minimum.  Since I have learned so much from the net, I thought that I should share my adventures for future DIY specialists.  And so the fun begins . . .
