CV Joint Adventures

Inspect your CV joints at each oil change to make sure they are nice and secure. I was all set to put mine back together, but when I got a closer look under the car, the CV joint flopping loose caused much more damage than I originally thought. Looks like my next article will be about swapping transmissions.

--- 'Yea, this is what I thought'...Well I have finally got all the parts together to be able to complete this project, minus probably one trip up to FLAPS for some fluids, possibly some lock tight etc. This CV joint has been troublesome since I got Max. So I am hopefully going to take care of it for good now as it has cause enough damage.

Does anyone know what that white plastic piece I have broken is? I don't remember what it was connected to or if it was 8-( But at least nothings leaking out of it 8-) So it turns out to be the reverse light switch... but thats just icing on the cake... want to see? Here are three levels... click on the pictures for a bigger shot (800x600).

Looks like the CV joint hit the start in it's flopping around. Well hmmm.... time for a second car... ugh!
