Welcome to my car's web site! Page 3

Lovely wide body lookRear End

From this view, the car looks the widest.  It is this look that I fall in love with the Porsche 911, and its derivatives.  The Carrera 2 S has a unique split grille on the engine lid.  The "S" script is prominently displayed as to let other drivers on the road know that this car is special.  At the speed of 50 MPH, the integrated spoiler automatic raises to keep the air-cooled engine happy and increases down force for high speed stability.  If the speed of the car reduces below 8 MPH, the spoiler will automatic retract to the close position.

Interior of car is Classic greyLeft side interior

The interior is pure Porsche 911.  It has not changed much for the last 30+ years.  What I like most about the interior is the seating position.  Everything you need to make your driving an experience you will never forget.  The classic five gauge layout has not changed since the inception of the first 911, was known as type 901, in 1964.  My car has a 10 speaker stereo option.  The stereo sound system is not the greatest, but it will make most people happy.  For me, I am a music lover,  I need a little more bass in this car.  As of right now there is no plan to add a sub woofer to the car, however.  I need the space behind the front seats to hold things that I need when I drive the car.  Besides,  I want to be able to carry a small person or my niece and nephew while they still fit in the back seats, :-).  I want them to experience what Porsche is all about.  I hope to inspire them to do the same when they mature enough to enjoy the fun of driving one of the greatest sports cars in the world.

18 x 8 Front Turbo Twisted wheel18 x 8" Front Turbo Twisted wheel

The wheels are 18" Turbo Twisted wheels with 8" and 10" respectively.  The brakes are standard 993 issue with 4 piston calipers.  The brake rotors are cross drilled from the factory and internally vented.  The center caps have  Porsche crest on each one.  These are expensive as they don't have any real function, except they make the car look good.  Porsche 911 used to have a reputation for the rear end to swing out, or spin, during hard cornering.  Inexperience drivers tend to lift the right foot off the accelerator pedal mid corner and causes the spin.  But with the wide body and bigger tire contact patch, the Carrera 2 S is not easy to spin on dry road.  Now, on wet road, it could be entirely different story.  Since I don't drive my car in the rain much,  I just have to be careful that's all.
