Big Bad
Then, in October, 2000, a 1978 930 nicknamed "Big Bad" came up for sale on Rennlist. I was fortunate enough to be the second person to contact Derick Cooper, the seller and familiar to most Rennlist members. The first caller had to drop out after a day and I had the chance to buy the car. Big Bad is a stock appearing, very prepped car that has 441 hp at the crankshaft and 375 hp at the rear wheels. The work on the car was done by the second previous owner, Michael Benet, co-founder of www.ImagineAuto.com, a company specializing in building extreme Porsche Turbos that are both reliable and drivable. I can attest that Big Bad is both.
