Turbo Projects

When I purchased my car early in 2000 it had some real pluses and minuses.

The car had a low mileage Motor Meister rebuild (a real plus) and a recently rebuilt transmission to go with it (another bonus). At some point a previous owner had made some upgrades, including adding a 78 style intercooler and wing.

On the down side, the paint was rough, the sunroof was not working properly, the seats were destroyed, the turbo was leaking oil when cold and smoked on start-up, the front spoiler had been beaten up by some critter and there were a variety of little annoying things with the electrical system. Regardless it was a real 930 and it was mine.

I have little by little begun attacking these projects to make the car a fun street and track car.

After one DE in Texas one of the things that needed work was the AC to make life getting to the track more bearable.

Another thing was the worn over-rider/bumperette on the rear bumper. To avoid the expense of replacing this and to loose some serious weight I switched to a cool RSR rear bumper.

Take a look at the install of my GHL headers purchased from Imagine auto.
