Replacing the fuel filter on the 928 is a very easy job! The hardest part is just finding where it is hidden. The filter sits under a cover on the bottom of the fuel tank The cover is held on by 2 10mm nuts up behind the rear bumper area. Once these are off the cover will come free.

be sure to COUNTER HOLD the fittings on the nuts. The large radiator style clamp will also have to be removed as well in order for the filter to be removed.

Be sure to disconnect your battery and have a pan handy to catch the gas that will ran out of the filter.

Installation is just the opposite procedure and before you place the cover back on be sure to leak check the fitting.
