Sharks in the Park - May 12, 2007

Another beautiful day in Berkeley's Tilden Park. Cars lined up...

Panning Right...

Panning Right some more...

...and even more.

Below is a stitched-together panorama of the above 4 shots.

Charley just loves the idea of having his GTS run better -- thanks to Bill Ball.

Angelo, with a look of shock on his face...

Here's why: Intruder Alert!

Lunchtime approaches -- All are drawn to the delicious smell of BBQ.

Masters at work.

Interesting widebody. Some folks, on other cars, have replaced outside mirrors with cameras. In a significant break with tradition, this car has Charley mounted in place of the passenger side mirror.

No doubt about it, the car has interesting lines.

The B- and C-Pillars are now one gigantic B-Pillar. Quite a blind spot, but with a car like this, who cares who's behind you?

Pop-ups replaced by flip-ups.

Interior is not such a huge departure, except for the Recaros...

Even the rears have Recaro stitching, not sure how that was accomplished... maybe just covers?

Those are some BIG meats!

Calling drivers for the pre-funride meeting.

The usual photo-op stop...

And again...

The usual stop near highway 80.

Tighter shot of the attendees.

It was a bear-free drive, lots of fun as usual. It's just enough of a white-knuckle ride that I can't get any shots except when stopped. Take my word for it though, it's a kick!

Again, Big thanks to Bill Ball, NorCal 928 & sponsors for putting on this fun event. I'm looking forward to next year!
