Cam tower bolts are out and the cam tower is pulled away from the head while I figure out how to keep the lifters from falling out.

A close up of the cam tower. Incidently the lifters WILL fall right out if you let them. I did not let them.

Cam tower is gone and the top of the head is in view.

Wrench is attached to the upper control arm mount bolts. I am not positive yet but I am betting that because the uppers are smaller on the early cars that the shock and spring won't fit through it.

There were more after market parts available for "T" motors then any other motor in history (acording to my 'T" friends). You could get aftermarket crankshafts, cams, water pumps, oil pumps (there are no pumps on a "T" motor) etc.

These covers are the best, I find myself keeping them as clean as the rest of the car.
