Converting an '86 DME to use a later 2732A EPROM

Somewhere around 1987 the DME's EPROM type changed from a  2716 (2K bytes, 24pin) to a 2732A (4K byes, 24 pins).
The 1988 and 1989 DME's I've examined have 27C64's (8K bytes, 28 pins).
My '86 had a 2716. In order to run a custom chip that came in a 2732A EPROM I had to move a single jumper.
After you make this mod you can still run your old chip without changing the jumpers back.

Just unsolder the jumper that connects "B702" and "B1" and insert it between "B703" and "B704".
