924

Like most cars of this age the dash was cracked the seats torn and the carpets faded so I had to fix it to match the cars new image. I decided to do the seats and lower part of the door panels in light gray leather but due to miscommunication between the owner and staff of the upholstery company they did it in black again. The apologized profusely and offered to redo it in the right color or give me a huge discount if I accept it, as it is highly unlikely that they will get in another 924 to use it on. At first I wanted them to do it over but took the car for the weekend to do other repairs and the black started to grow on me so I kept it.

I was a bit scared to remove the dash but it was easier than I thought and the car even started (hope I get everything back together though) so I could take it to the workshop to do the top overhaul while the dash is recovered, while some other company is recovering the seats and yet another company is making the new carpets. Coordinating every thing is going to be a nightmare but it should save a lot of time.

Like on many other cars some of the pieces on the ventilation inlets was broken so I fixed it by gluing half a toothpick to it.
