Porsche 911's typically wear the rear tires at a faster rate than the fronts. Porsche does not recommend mixing tire brands or tire models as this can affect handling. Even mixing tires of the same make and model but with differing "N" ratings is discouraged. Therefore, this situation can leave the owner with the dilemma of locating the same brand and model to replace the rear tires, or having the replace all four tires. In
addition, Porsche does not recommend using tires that are older than 6
