The Great American Run

On July 29th, 2007 my wife and I will embark on a life altering mission, to cross 3,000 miles of American terrain in company with some of the most exotic vehicles in the world. My vehicle of choice, for this year is my 2006 BMW 550i, as the 944 GTR will not be ready until 2008. This event will prove challenging not only because of the great distance that must be traveled, but because of the notorious evening parties one must attend. Each team goes along a predestined route from one of the four starting cities, (Washington D.C., New York, Atlanta, Miami) stopping each night to stay at lavish hotels and party like college students.

I have chosen Atlanta as a starting point, reason being is that I would like my sister and family to be at the starting grid as this will prove to be an experience to remember.

The routes will lead to Las Vegas where there will be 4 tracks setup for a track day, before all 400 cars make the final dash to L.A. for the closing gala. This is going to be a Cannonball to remember!
