Pacific Northwest 928 Dyno Day
February 26, 2000

This is an event that I'd been looking forward to for some time: a gathering of area 928 owners with an opportunity to chat and perform a check of our cars' fitness on the dynamometer.

I arrived close to 8:30 after a pleasant morning ride from Seattle to Austin's PRO/MAX Performance Center in Tacoma. It was a sunny and pleasant drive and Mt. Rainier was mostly visible. It would later cloud up and rain, but spirits weren't dampened.

It was a pleasure to finally connect some smiling faces with names I'd learned via email or through Rennlist. Adam's car was being prepared for the first spin on the barrels as I arrived. Adam received numerous well-deserved kudos for arranging this fun event and those who attended--Rennlisters and others alike--were rewarded with silly grins as our cars roared to life.
