The common modification of moving the fuel pump to the front of the car, in order to eliminate vapor lock
can result in a jumble of fuel hoses under the tank. Normally, a "T" connection is used to
connects the two return lines to the pump. It is especially
difficult to install, and the hoses can become bent and kinked easily. I
decided that an "F" connector would allow the hoses to be dressed in a
better fashion, but "F" connectors are quite rare. So I built the one shown. The big, threaded barb fitting
connects to the short hose section that goes to the pump. |
