This is a view of the brackets that I made for the struts. What I did is; cut 4 inch piece of aluminum angle iron and attach the strut ball to the piece of aluminum. Than I pop riveted to the inside of the rear trunk.

This is a view of the trunk lid. I did the same here as I did in the trunk.

This is a view of the struts I bought from Schuck's Auto Supplies. I think they where about $21.00 for the bothof them.

This is a view of the trunk open all the way.

This is a view with the struts installed wrong. The fat part of the strut needs the be attached to the trunk lid. Installed this way as shown. The fat part of the strut will hit the wheel well in the trunk, which will not allow the trunk lid to close.
