Seems I have develped a rust spot.
And some paint is wearing off at the leading edge of the rocker panels @ the front wheel wells
This is the driver side
This is the passenger side
I had and estimate done for all repairs and while i was at it i want to get the trim reblacked since they have to remove it anyway
Notice the difference in the quarter trim and the fresh black door trim..
The estimate for repairing the rust spot, redoing the rockers and blacking
out the trim came to a whopping 1250 dollars.
Its gotta be done though.
More pics on this to come. Im hoping the body shop will let me photograph
them cutting out and welding in
new metal panel where the rust spot is. Should be intersesting and
sickening at the same time.
