1997 Porsche 993 Carrera 4S
Well it looks like it's time to move on and sell
my beloved C4S. I'm not driving it much any more, so I'd like to
sell it to someone else who will continue to get the same enjoyment that
I've experienced. If you're not aware of it, this is one of those
rare widebody cars that is the same as the 993 Twin Turbo (4 wheel drive,
wide body, brakes, suspension, 18" wheels), but without the turbo.
I've installed Eibach (progressive rate) springs to lower the car about
1" and give it a crisper feel, but the ride has not been degraded. Alignment
is set to be more aggressive than stock (more negative camber). Car was
originally delivered in October 1996, and I purchased it with 4K miles in
May 1997.
Condition:
It's in exceptional cosmetic shape inside and out, and is in fantastic
mechanical shape (needs nothing). All recommended service has been
done on schedule. Mobil 1 oil (and filter) have been changed every
5K miles.
+ flywheel and clutch kit replaced at 30K under factory warrantee
(not due to abuse)
+ the alternator failed during that service, so that was also replaced
under warrantee
+ Bridgestone S02 N2 tires with approximately 50% left
+ maintenance records and receipts are available
+ bumper-to-bumper extended warrantee until 9/2002
