Interior Restoration, Summer 2002

While the interior was in very good shape, except for some faded carpet, it was brown.
I don't think it goes too well with the black metallic exterior, so even though it will change it from original, I will be swapping in a complete black interior with leather sport seats.  I will keep the brown interior in case I ever sell and originality becomes an issue.

Here are a couple of pics of the interior before, even the dash is in great shape with only a few small cracks

Had the optional 4 spoke small diameter thick wheel

The stock oil pressure gauge and clock were removed and Callaway oil pressure and boost gauge take their place in the center console.

One of my favorite parts of the early cars, the Porsche script door panels, the new panels will not have the script but will get rid of the large '80s Alpine speakers in the doors.

Seats were a brown/tan tweed cloth.  These will be removed also and the fronts replaced with a pair of manual factory leather sport seats.

New Black Interior

Black full leather sports seats, extended hub steering wheel.

Yellow on black gauges replaced with factory White on Black with Red needles.
