Summer of 2002 car mechanically and cosmetically restored, car has approximately 4000 miles since refurbishment.
Some details are as follows:

Engine rebuilt:

    Block honed (block was sleeved with steel liners when converted by Callaway)
    New Rings
    Forged rods rebushed and resized
    Crank magnafluxed and micropolished
    New main, rod and balance shaft bearings
    New gaskets
    New water pump
    New radiator, low temp thermostat and thermo-fan switch
    New timing and balance shaft belts and rollers
    Oil pump rebuilt with new drive gear
    New factory ignition wires, cap and rotor
    Cylinder head rebuilt
    New factory clutch kit (pressure plate, release bearing, pilot bearing)
    Original IHI turbo charger rebuilt
    New exhaust piping,
    Original Callaway Borla stainless steel muffler
    New motor mounts

Chassis Refurbished:

    New rotors & pads
    Calipers rebuilt, new seals and hardware
    New brake lines
    New rear emergency brake shoes and hardware
    New front and rear shocks , front 250 lb autocross springs
    Car lowered at rear to Euro height
    New ball joints, inner and outer tie rods
 

Other details:

    Car has new paint from doors forward (entire car was painted in 1993 and stored from 1996 until 2002)

    Euro rear valance panel
    Black on white factory VDO European gauges
    Factory Extended Hub Steering Wheel
    New factory emblems. hood crest and decals
    A true collectors car, lighter and faster than a stock factory Turbo


Black metallic with black interior with full leather sport seats, has a few stone chips and small scratches but presents very well.
