The rockers on this car were painted black with some heavy undercoat-like stuff that was chipping off. So, I removed them, striped them back to metal and resprayed them with primer and then the gold finish. The paint came from Ed Freeman at Pacific Western Paints (http://www.pwpaints.com). I think that it really improves the look of the car. (Those are my snow tires by the way. It was February 20 when I took this photo and guess waht - there were snow flakes in the air. Yikes - and on the west coast no less.
