This is my first attempt at building one of these. I have really enjoyed reading others. Maybe you'll enjoy reading mine.

This is a Carrera sunroof coupe. This car was imported into Tennesee in 1977. It made its way to Arizona in 1981 where it was little used until I purchased it in1993. The car had 53,000 miles on the odometer at that time. Since then I have autocrossed it, driven it on the track, driven to California for Bruce Anderson's engine building course, and to the Monteray Historics on a couple of occaisions. The photo shows the car on the autocros circuit winning my class at the 1997 Whistler Weekend held by the Canada West Region of PCA.

I have embarked on many projects over the past years and have documented them here for you to share. This past year I have had to do some serious work on the front end because there was lots of rust near the torsion bar mounting point. If you're interested click here.

And there was the need for an engine rebuild.

And corner weighting ...

Building a bicycle rack ...

My latest repairs have been to restore the original radio, fix the cracks in the dashboard and seats, and prepare the car for evaluation for ICBC collector plates.

And now to replace those old rear spring plates and bushings.

Here are two photos of the parts needed to replace the wiring to the Hall Effect pickup on the distributor.

And I have removed the rockers, painted them getting rid of that awful black stuff and now they're gold!

And now I have replaced the Duck tail with a '76 turbo tail and added Carerra stripes. It's very cool!
