When I move the wheels back and foth you can see the tie rods moving. > > Thanks > Teddy Dear Teddy: There should be NO movement from top to bottom or from side to side. Some DE participants prefer a slight amount of play in the wheel bearing, even though the shop manual says there should be none. YMMV. The tie rods are known to wear where the metal ball fits in the plastic cup. Replacement of the tie rod will solve that problem. The wheel bearing adjustment nut probably needs to be turned a bit more. Also, check to see that the bearings still have grease. ~ Merry motoring ~
