YMMV. By definition, the GT is a manual. It is a bit more powerful than its S4 counterparts, but only by 10HP. It has the same gear ratio as the GTS - 2.73:1, but does not have its torque or HP. However, it does weigh about 50 pounds less than a GTS. The main difference is the GT is the last Porsche 5.0 liter engines, while the GTS has the 5.4 liter Porsche V8s. The GTS comes with 17" rims and 225mm wide tires up front and 255mm wide tires in the rear. The GT comes with 16" with 225mm wide tires up front and 245mm wide tires in the rear. The GTS has GTS brakes (Duh!) while the GT has S4 brakes. The GT does have a slightly stiffer suspension which helps to make it a bit more nimble. As with the GTS, the GT fenders lips have been factory rolled, but the rear fender is not a widebody. Having driven them both, I prefer the GT. It's not as refined or softly sprung as the GTS, but in spite of having almost 20HP less than the GTS, it still keeps up with the best of them, and can out-corner any stock GTS. Having a price tag that is usually over $5k below a compareable GTS doesn't hurt either. YMMV. ~ Merry motoring ~
