It's been a long time since I last posted to this list, so first of all -
sorry for disappearing ( yeah right, like somebody noticed :-)
I have a question to sk please: where can I find chassis numbers (how many
are there?) ona 1983 Euro S?
Please reply to me direct as I'm only digesting at the moment.

The Vin # for early cars are stamped into the inner right front fender
panel - above the front lower control arm mount (approx 10 inches) find a
flat spot about 6 inches long . The vin # is stamped in the chassis - if you
open the hood you can see the "flat spot" about 4 inches below the top of
the fender but the numbers are on the outside . Thieves rarely remove this
number when they steal and renumber a car .
