Since I just happen to have a set of manual sport seats in the garage sitting next to a stock electric seat from an '83, I went out and wieghed them.

The manual leather sport seats (which I presume are the lightest stock seat you can get) weighed in at 34 pounds with the mounting rails attached, 31 with out. The electric seat (6 way - no heat, leather) was a portly 56 pounds.
