My wife likes your bracing idea ALOT >better!!!!!!!!! 1) Buy one yard of the heaviest canvas that you can find. 2) Cut two strips approx. 18" by 18" . 3) Double each strip upon itself and glue, making two 9" by 18" strips, double thickness. 4) Drill holes and attach one strip to the end of each ramp with about six pop rivets, so that you have 6" of fabric attached to the end of the ramp, and 12" of fabric hanging off the end of the ramp. (Note - don't put all of the rivets in a row, or the end of the ramp will "tear along dotted line".) 5) When the car approaches the ramps, the tires will drive up onto the fabric, and the weight of the car will hold the ramps firmly in place as the car climbs the ramps.
