Of course one of my Audis might be boost mapped Motronic > already but I would never admit it :) Ahah , I always suspected you were a "modern man" in a "cave man" suit :-) > So I here you know how to wire a V1 into the front dome light? Pull fuse for interior lights ( or disconnect battery ground via WINGNUT, if equipped :-) Pop out the Interior light "Stuff" the power supply module ( with RJ cable attached) into the hole of the interior light up inside the headliner (seems to work best for me towards the left side of the opening) . Leave the RJ cable, black, and red lines hanging out of the hole. Remove 12v- (brown) and 12V+ (red) wires from the interior light, install INSULATED spade connector "Y"s on the terminals where the wires were and then plug wires back up using one leg of the "Y"s. Plug 12v-(black) and 12v+ (red) wires from V1 power supply to the other legs of the "Y" Mount V1 where you want it ( I prefer just above the RV mirror) , then connect RJ cable to it. Then put the excess RJ cable inside the light hole, carefully reinstall Interior light and reconnect battery or fuse.. >Do you run the remote display? No, but it would be easy to add. Just run the cable under the headliner, behind the A-pillar cover, under the dashboard and up onto the instrument pod. At this point the neatest way would be to loosen the upper pod mount bolt on the left side enough to push the instrument cluster towards the front of the car to give enough space to position the cable in between the cluster bezel and the pod housing . Then position the remote at the bottom center of the Instrument cluster . Push cluster back into it's original position and tighten upper pod mount bolt.
