Subject: [928] 1977 Motor Trend Debut of 928

Digging up some old brochures and such, I came across my old photocopy of
the Motor Trend debut of the 928, (Vol 29 #6, June 1, 1977). In the article,
Ernst Fuhrmann states, "for the first time our firm can offer a range of
models in which the proven 911 is supplemented by the 928, ABOVE, and the
smaller 924 below." (emphasis added) Motor Trend ends the article, stating
"The 911 has been a magnificent car, one of the greatest in all auto
history. But in the 928 it has met its match." True. :)
