While driving at highway speed: Change the display to instant fuel mileage. Lift off the throttle completely - the mileage should go to 90.0 mpg. Step on the throttle very slightly - the mileage should drop to somewhere in the thirty - forty mpg range. This works because one of the functions of the idle switch is to cut the fuel completely above 1200 - 1500 rpm when the throttle is at the idle stop. Wally Plumley 928 Specialists
