Most common problem is dirty/burned contacts inside the switch. With ignition switch on, you should have 12 vdc positive on the red/black wire, ground on the brown wire. With the switch one way, you should have 12 vdc between the green and the red/green wires - note the polarity. Reverse the switch - there should again be 12 vdc between these two wires, but the polarity should reverse. If not, it's probably a bad switch. You can sometimes clean the switch contacts. If you take the switch apart, do so inside a clear plastic bag, so as to catch small flying parts. Wally Plumley 928 Specialists www.928gt.com
