It is due to the fact that the windows and sunroof are tied into one of the alarm modules and is a side effect of the "batman" feature that all 90 and later 928s have. This feature allows you to close your windows and sunroof from outside the car via your door locks. Simply hold the key in the "lock" position and your windows and sunroof will close in sequence (if they are open). Release the key once they are all closed fully or anywhere in between if you desire. You can also press each window switch and sunroof switch for 1 second and they will open fully in the sequence you pressed the switches without any further attention to the switches. Very handy when you want to open the windows and/or sunroof fully when you are driving at speed and need to focus attention to areas other than the window/sunroof switches. > Does anyone have any hints on how to modify the wiring to allow for this, Resist this urge...
