I've currently got my instrument cluster out and am doing some work on it.
One of the things I've already done was to replace the light bulbs for the
automatic transmission gear indicator, that's in the face of the
tachometer. The procedure on how to do this was written up a while back,
and referenced bulbs available from Radio Shack that can be used as
replacements. I used different bulbs than those mentioned in the procedure,
but that are now also available at Radio Shack. The new bulbs that I used
are absolutely identical, both physically and in brightness, to the ones
that were originally in the tachometer. The new bulbs are Radio Shack part
number 272-1154.
