Thanks, Jim Look on page 87-86 in your manual. The hose doesn't hook to anything in the fenderwell, as it is an air inlet. The hose should go into the fenderwell, attach to the back wall, and do a 180 deg turn back down. The idea is to pick up relatively clean, cool air to measure outside air temp and then to cool the alternator. The outside air temp sensor for the HVAC system is located in an aluminum tube near the U-bend. This sensor is a thermistor, in series with the temp control slide resistor and the inside air temp sensor (located behind the little grille on the dash). If you replace the hose, check the sensor and clean the electrical connections. Wally Plumley 928 Specialists
