I was feeling the pain of selling my R32, and decided I couldn't wait too long for the new Volkswagen Tiguan (Crossover Utility Vehicle) TDI. So, what to do? Well, get another Volkswagen, of course, and get myself used to the Turbo Direct Injection (TDI) Diesel. This is one engine where I can keep the RPM's low (as I too often do), the power is smooth (thanks to the torque), and though maybe not a 2 door golf TDI like I wanted, it's growing on me very quickly!

The gas mileage, well, phenomenal! It's kind of new for me to have idiot lights instead of gauges, but when driving a "cute" car, I can have a "cute" attitude! It still is peppy enough to pass a lot of traffic, It makes the 4000 foot climb home a pleasure!

The only thing I could want more is the 2012 new beetle they are calling the 21st century beetle. It looks awesome!

Think Small!
