| Brakes |
| The brakes seem to be pretty good right out of the box and they held up
well at an autocross. According to the PPO (before Steve) the rotors
are new and they have been serviced recently.
A preliminary check shows the front rotors to be good but it looks like the inner pads are wearing faster than the outers, also possibly the source of my intermittant "Brake Pad" light on the instrument panel. I'm planning to install Speedbleeders on the car, along with a complete fluid flush and new pads. I've already used Speedbleeders on my track 914 and I love them. Bleeding the brakes is a 10 minute job and the pedal is rock-hard. |
