911 Projects
I bought a 1974 911 targa. It was in need of small repairs. When I sold it about a year later it was still in need of small repairs. I lost only a little money and learned a lot. I suppose it was worth it. It will always be my first Porsche.
When I bought the car it had a rebuilt motor that had been left to sit due to fuel injection issues. A rebuilt motor that has been left to sit for years is no longer a rebuilt motor, it is a leaky old motor with good compression. Among things that I repaired on the car were: recovered the top, replaced all the CIS components, repaired rust in rear floor from leaky top, repaired oil leak (only one of them) changed the tires, changed the plugs and wires and sold the car when I found a 1976 930.
