"Well, I just got my 1906 .30Luger American Eagle back today from Ted Green. It has been about an hour and I haven't put it down yet. There are few words in my vocabulary to describe the look and feel of it …..It has a rich, radiant deep rust blue that is exactly the right depth and color. All the small parts are like beautiful jewels and the fired blue parts are deep and lustrous….To anyone who is considering having a Luger restored by Ted Green: You will not regret it. His meticulous hand finishing and attention to detail is not only apparent but it stands out. ….but even as good as digital cameras are there is no way that one can capture the luster of this gun. I am looking at it in extremely bright light and it is awesome. Besides being beautiful it has new springs throughout, it has been internally polished, the rails have been polished and it has been test fired. …. Thank you Ted Green. You are a master craftsman and, even though I will try, I don't think any pictures I take will be close to the way to this pistol really shines."

"I saw my artillery in progress at Thor's over the weekend, and I was dumbfounded! SPEECHLESS, which is a rare occurrence for me! It was beautiful. The man is an artist!…… Ted has made her into a beauty. The blue is deep and rich, and the strawing looks like fine gold jewelry. I'm already talking to Ted about our next "project," and I predict that his work will be valuable someday as collector's items."

"Well, needless to say, the gun looks absolutely gorgeous. I love the color of the bluing and I think the strawing is exactly the right hue. …I have a pair of white cotton gloves by the case so that I can keep picking it up and admiring it without getting fingerprints on it. I'm also being real careful not to drool on it! I really want to preserve it just like it is. Even though it's not a "collectible", I believe that it's value will be greater in the future just because it's a "Ted Green rework". Your work is fast becoming renowned in the Luger collecting community and I believe your pieces will become highly sought-after regardless of the pedigree of the Luger itself! "

"I got to see my Luger Ted refinished and it is spectacular! Another great project completed by Ted. The finish on the Double Date is really as close as you can get to what I feel would be a factory finish. Thanks Ted for the great job. Bluing, Strawing, etc. sure made this dip blued pistol look new."

"I received my pistol back from Ted yesterday after he worked his magic on it, and it is SPECTACULAR…….. This pistol was in extremely poor shape when I acquired it….. The rust blueing and strawing are (now) absolutely gorgeous"
