TLSS is a Christian Luger restoration business

TLSS is a full Curio and Relics pistol restoration service specializing in the pistols manufactured in the 1900 to 1950 time era. TLSS is run owned and run by Ted & Natalie Green. Ted is a restorer that often goes by the screen name THOR on many current Internet message boards, especially on the Luger Forum www.lugerforum.com. We are a Christian business.

We specialize in the Luger pistol and in all variants from the 1900 American Eagle all the way to the end of production Mauser and Krieghoff Lugers made in the 1945 time frame. The P.38, Walther PPK, and Mauser Broomhandle pistols are also other weapons that are we specialize in full restoration. Additional pistols we have restored are the Japanese Nambu, types 14 and 94; The Browning Hi Power pistol; Various CZ pistols; Swedish Lathi; Colt 1911, Ballester Molina, Chinese Shansei 45 acp Broomhandle pistol; Russian Tokarev and a 22 lr Hamilton rifle. We have completed successful restorations on hundreds of C&R pistols.

Areas of detail we pay close attention to in the restoration process are retaining proof and numbering markings, factory edges and contours, metal preparations, and finishes. The most common request for our services are restoration to factory condition. We occasionally get requests to do special combinations of finish work. We can provide finishes in rust bluing, salt bluing, fire bluing, and strawed part.

Proof marks can be restored if in areas of pitting. Another area of expertise that we offer are spot repairs. These repairs are permanent and restore just the area that was damaged by improper storage, metal pencil engraving, chemical reaction to substances found in leather holsters, blood splatter during battle, or handling by salt from human hands. Pictures of examples of this type of repair are available upon request by email. I offer a small restoration marking on the frame of the pistol if the clients requests it to indicate I have worked on the pistol. This small marking is on the inside of the magazine well on a Luger pistol. You can see the mark if you remove the magazine. On most other pistols it would be on the frame under the grips. This mark is NOT added to the pistol if the clients does not request it.

Restoration turn around is generally 3-5 months. We have a business policy to return ship to FFLs or C&R FFLs ONLY. Shipping to Clients located in California & New Jersey is different. Please contact us for details.

Special thanks to John and Jen Dunkle who run three excellent C&R sites for the Luger, P.38 and PP/PPK pistols and manage the TLSS site. Another special thanks to Ralph & Nancy Shattuck of World of Lugers that have been an immense help in guidance and assistance. Our business would not have made it without the tremendous help of these fine people.
