Removing Front Seats

There are 3 allen hex bolts holding each seat rail to the floor. See pictures for location and removal of each front (1 bolt) and rear (2 bolts) seal rail. There are several electrical connectors that also need to be disconnected before removing the seat. The seat can temporarily moved to the rear seat area while you perform whatever task for which you needed the access.

It is easiest to perform this task with a hex wrench that has a balled-end because you will be working at an angle in most cases.

Basically it works like this:

1. Move the seat to the most rear position in order to access the front hexbolts:

2. Remove each the two hex bolt from the front tracks with the hex wrench:

3. Move the seat to the fully forward position and remove the four rear hex bolts:
