The one thing I know is bad for 911's is to treat them like a Honda ... that is, just fill them up with gas and drive until something breaks!!!"The following schedule may not be optimal for all, but it is based on an owner/mechanic doing all of his/her own work -- not having a shop do this work, and it gives a starting point to work from."
Quarterly (or every 3,000 miles)Engine oil & filter --- 3000 miles
Valve Adjustment or check --- Every oil change
Fan belt --- Inspect every oil change
Semi-Annually
Air filter replacement --- Every six months
Spark plug clean (sandblast) or change --- Every six months
Distributor removal, clean & oil felt under rotor --- every spark plug change

Transaxle gear oil --- Swepco 201, changed annually (other brands: every 3000 miles).
Fuel filter replacement --- Annually
Front wheel bearing repack & adjust --- Annually
Wheel Alignment --- Annually
Distributor disassembly, inspect for wear --- Annually
Every Two Years
CV-joint repack --- Every 20,000 miles or every two years
Brake Fluid total replacement --- Every two years
Brake system seals disassembly & check -- Every two years
Fan belt --- Replace every two years
Every Ten Years
Clutch cable replacement --- Replace every ten years, or every 50,000 miles
Brake system rubber hoses --- Replace every ten years, or every 100,000 miles
