This 73 Spitfire 1500 was sold to a gentleman in Oklahoma at the end of February, 2001.

 

My 76 Spitfire.  It sold to a gentleman from Austin Texas in November, 2000.

 

This was my daily driver.  I owned this car for 4 years and it never failed to drive and drive and drive.  It looked like hell but went like stink.  I was the second owner.  The Original owner bought this car from a local dealer in 1979 and paid cash.  I have a copy of the original title.  It was sold locally in September, 2000.

 

I bought this 79 as a parts car for the orange Spit.  It was complete and rust free, so I couldn't scavenge it.  I sold it to a friend and he rebuilt the motor and drives it all the time.  He has plans to install a Buick 215 V8.

 

As soon as I find the pictures of my first Spitfire, I'll scan them and post them here.  It was a 78 purchased in 1986 in Pensacola Fl. when I got out the Navy.  I drove it home loaded down with everything I owned.
