I'm asking 4k, OBO.  At that price I'm losing a good deal of money (see chart below).  I also realize that I can't recoup all of that expense.  I still have a sense of humor, but try to make a reasonable and fair offer.  I bought this car complete from Steve Malm last January.  You may remember it.  I included his link below.  The PO died before finishing the project and his wife finally had to get rid of it 5 years later.  So no history is available.  I've been driving the car since April of 2002.  It's done 2 PCA DE track events (3 days total) and 1 SCCA autocross in that time.  I'm considering putting it on a dyno so I have a dyno sheet to prove engine worthiness.  I've looked it over while on my lift many times and I still can't find any rust.  I use the jack posts all the time and the car doesn't flex a bit.  It ain't pretty, scratches and dings, it needs paint and interior (although I have a ratty chocolate brown interior that goes with the car), and rubber seals (the ones that are on the car are pretty much shot). But the car runs like a bat outa hell, very strong, and the suspension has been entirely rebuilt, bead blasted and powder coated by me.  New street urethane bushings, used Bilstein rear shocks, new Bilstein sport front struts, Turbo tie rods, bump steer spacers and professional 4 corner alignment ($120 just for the alignment).   New rotors all around,  SS lines and 19mm MC, Porterfield race pads (they don't have to heat up to work well, but they squeal like pigs on the street).  Stops better than any 914 I've ever driven.  CV joints gone through, shafts powder coated to match the suspension, and a fresh load of Dirty Dan's CV grease with new gaskets.  New trans output flange seals as well. Nice looking pair of Fuchs with decent Pirelli P6 tires.  Motor only leaks from the valve covers, and the trans front seal is leaking the tiniest little bit, but easy fixes.  In fact I could be persuaded to fix both and do a valve adjustment before sale.  Only other real problem is the cold start FI stuff quit working a couple of months back, and it bucks a little bit at low rpm speeds when cold.  More nuisance than any thing else.  I haven't advertised the car for that reason. I'm considering trying to fix that before pushing real hard to sell it. That way I could say beyond a doubt that it has no running issues.  But I need to move the car to help pay for my new (to me) 914/6.  You can have anyone that is interested call or email me.  I've also been told that this could very well be one of only 3 known Sepia Brown 914's.  It definitely had to be ordered from the factory with this color as it was not a standard 914 color.

Here's Steve's old link (it looks, runs and drives far better now than it did in these shots):

Those parts add up really fast.  And that's just what I remember, what I've spent so far, doesn't include used parts I put in it, or ANY of my labor to haul it home form CA, get it running and road worthy, and completely rebuild, bead blast and powder coat the entire front and rear suspension and install all of the new brake stuff.  I calculate the used part costs to be at least $180.
