I bought this Pneumatic Office Chair from Office Max to start my 914 lounge chair. The chair cost $40.

This is a view of the frame work of the office chair before I started adding brackets for the 914 seat.

I attached two pieces of angle iron, the same width as the 914 seat rails , to the office chair frame with rivets. Than the seat rails are riveted to the angle iron. Also you need to bend up the back ends of the rails so the 914 seat will not slide through.

This is another view of the bracket work on the office chair. Its pretty easy to do if you have some spare dink-a-round time.

Here is the finished 914 Lounge Chair. I had a couple spare 914 seats and rails stored in the garage. So I thought this would be a good dink-a-round project.
