Rear Seats and Door Pockets

The finished rear seat back . If you follow the binding carefully you will have an invisible line of staples all around the seat. The seats were now ready for installation.

The door pockets were THE hardest item of the interior to cover. With the curved surfaces  you must maintain a constant pull on the material to get a smooth finish.

To keep the staples from showing you must push the head of the stapler under the edge binding of the new carpet

The carpet that was on the back side rear seat seats was removed so that I could attach the new carpet.

I ran a line of staples across the top edge of the pocket  then smoothed the material across to the bottom applying staples flush with the edge.

The top portion is pulled over the edge and stapled on the inside of the pocket. You must be careful with the staples as they will crack the hard plastic parts.

The completed door pockets installed .
